Hey everyone! This week in H-town was of the chains!
First off GO ASTROS! People down here are going nuts! First off
they canceled school so people would go to the parade. Didn’t really
help us out because literally everyone was gone and we had no one to
talk to haha! Then we heard that the check out line at dicks sporting
goods was over a 2 hour wait just to get a shirt or something! People
are going crazy for them!
On Halloween we had a leadership training that was really good! Our
mission is going to change a lot in the future and I am really excited!
Great things are coming and that’s exactly what this mission needs!
We have some good investigators right now. Maria Gil has been a little wishy-washy but we are going to talk with her this week!
We had a regional stake conference and it was like a mini general
conference! We had the opportunity to listen to Elder Christoferson
which was really good! He talked about how we can listen to the prophet
even though he has been silent for a little bit. We need to listen to
what he has said to us in the past, try and follow his example, and
simple things like that. I love him and sustain him!
