Frozen Houston...

Hey guys sorry for not writing a big letter last week! The email on our I pads are being really dumb and not working so I am not sure of when your gonna get this email but hopefully it gets to you soon!

Well transfers happened again and I am staying here in Broadway! I love it here! The people are so cool and its awesome to be around the Hispanic people here!  I'm excited to see what this transfer has in store! Oh and the Hermanas that i served with in the MTC went home this past week and that made me feel old haha!

Are investigators are doing great! We finally got in contact with our investigator Gilberto! Him and his family have been really sick with the flu and they told us not to come over for a while so we played it cool and they texted us and said for us to come over this week! We are really excited about that!

Other than that the only other big thing that is going on here is that it snowed last Monday and Tuesday and it was really cool to see and what not, but when we hopped on those bikes it sucked... their was ice everywhere, the wind was blowing so it felt like 10 degrees are something like that, and then to top things off everything turned into slush, and the slush mixed in with the dirty streets of Houston was straight nasty haha! but still it was fun :)

I was excited to hear about the new first presidency of the church! I know that President Nelson is a man called of god! We where talking about how president nelson has tons of connections with china, so it should be pretty cool to see what the future has for us! Thank you guys for the emails and everything! Love you guys and have a great week!

Baptism

Hey everyone, hope you guys are doing good! Everything here in Broadway 3 is doing just fine! we had a pretty good week here.

First things first this past week was super cold, and it was awful not gonna lie.  We would have been fine if it wasn't so freaking windy all the time but we got through it like champs haha! We saw lots of good things come from it, and that is all that matters!

Also this week we did a lot of walking because the bike of Elder Eckhardt had some issues.  We where able to find 3 new people to start teaching so that's good! Also we decided to walk around the sketchiest part of our area at 7:30 pm, and that was way fun haha! we talked to some crazy dudes and it was super fun! as far as work goes that is all we really have right now, but we are getting a lot more support from the ward! i am really excited to start working with them more!

I had the opportunity to go back to my old area this week and witness a family that me and Elder Fraley taught be baptized! It was kind of a surprise but we put in so much work with them and when I found out that they wanted to make this change and was soooo excited! The baptism was great and it was awesome to see some of my favorite ward members from Houston 7 again!

Overall this week was pretty bomb! I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a missionary! I was saddened to hear about the passing of President Monson... Really I don't know if I would be out here on a mission today, if it wasn't him making the changes that he did! He not only blessed my life but the lives of  millions! I am so grateful that we have prophets and apostles to lead and guide us today! Love you guys and hope you all have a great week!

Happy New Year...6 more months!

Whats up guys! Sorry I haven’t written in a minute but things here in Broadway have been pretty good!

Well first things first it has been freaking cold here haha. Today was a high of 35 with a windchill of like 20.... we are on bikes too so that has been fun!

Really we haven’t had the chance to talk with people because lots of them are out of town, or they don’t wanna be outside because it’s too cold, but we have definitely seen lots of miracles! We where biking at like 8:00 pm in the cold in the middle of the ghetto and we felt like we needed to go see an investigator. On the way their we felt like we needed to stop by a members store that she owns. We knocked on the door and she opened and said “wow what a miracle, I was about to call you for a blessing, my daughter in in trouble down in Mexico! So we
gave her a blessing and 5 minutes later she got a call and everything was fine! That was pretty cool the was super happy!

On the other hand we have been on a Christmas hangover and ready to start the new year! I’m excited to see what 2018 has in store and I’m excited to make the most of it! Thanks for all the love and support! Love you guys and happy new year!
